In his 25 years of practice, Tony Hutchins has developed an extensive knowledge of probate law. As an art collector, Mr. Hutchins appreciates the significance of artists and their work; he has developed planning strategies that allow for the retention and control of fine art and collections that minimize the cost of estate administration and tax liability.
Mr. Hutchins’ business affiliations have included the local boards of The Huntington Bank, Key Bank and Bank One. His community service affiliations have included membership on affiliate boards of the YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Rotary International, NAACP, and the Urban League. Mr. Hutchins has served as legal counsel to university and community college clients, the minority caucus of the American Baptist Convention, the State Legislative Black Caucus and the Ohio Association of Urban League Executive. He has also served as chairman of a Metropolitan Housing board, as the Assistant Law Director for Springfield, Ohio and as Assistant Legislative Counsel for Senator John Glenn.
Mr. Hutchins is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law and Howard University where he earned a BBA in Business Administration and post-degree studies in the MBA program.
Claudette Grant is an associate with the Law Office of A. Robert Hutchins. Ms. Grant is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law. While at Ohio State, she served as a staff member on the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law, and during her tenure on the Journal it was cited by the U.S Supreme Court in two cases. She also served as the Diversity Chair on the Student Bar Association and the Professional Development Chair for the Black Law Students Association. Additionally, she worked as an extern in the chambers of the Honorable Justice Maureen O’Connor of the Supreme Court of Ohio after her second year of law school.
Ms. Grant completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science and Economics at Wittenberg University. During her time at Wittenberg, she achieved academic honors in Economics and was on the Dean’s List several semesters.
Ms. Elisa Young has worked within the Probate, Business, Real Estate and Diversity & Inclusion fields for more than 8 years representing individuals, families, small businesses, and non-profits.
